A village unlike any other, Freckleton resides on the North shore at the mouth of the river Ribble, on the North West coast of England in an area of Lancashire known as The Fylde, The rivers Dow and Douglas also join the Ribble Estuary nearby.
The village is situated between the city of Preston on the East and Lytham St Annes on the West while Kirkham lies to the North and Blackpool is just around the coast to the North West.
The Millenium Ribble Link project to convert Savick Brook at Lea to a canal linking the Rivers Ribble and Douglas to the Lancaster Canal is nearby.
